US President Donald Trump has announced a meeting of high-ranking officials from the US, Ukraine, and Russia during the Munich Security Conference.
He made this statement to reporters at the White House, reports European Pravda.
When asked about the possibility of Putin and other representatives from Russia visiting Saudi Arabia, where he had previously suggested a meeting, he responded that it would happen "sooner or later."
“There will be a meeting in Munich tomorrow (February 14 – ed.). Russia will be there with our people. Ukraine is also invited, by the way. I’m not sure who will represent which country. But (it will be – ed.) high-ranking officials from Russia, Ukraine, and the US,” Trump added.
Russia has not participated in the Munich Security Conference since 2022. Official announcements regarding the participation of its representatives have not been made.
