Трамп запустит программу депортации мигрантов в первые часы своего президентства, сообщает CNN.

Donald Trump's company is finalizing a set of stringent immigration directives. They are expected to be released just hours after the elected president of the United States takes office.

This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, citing CNN.

According to two sources, the package represents a radical shift in immigration policy. It will affect immigrants already residing in the United States as well as migrants seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border. This, in turn, will initiate crackdowns on immigration that will have repercussions for people nationwide.

The plan includes:

  • immigration and customs enforcement checks in major metropolitan areas;
  • deployment of additional Pentagon resources to the southern U.S. border;
  • implementation of further entry restrictions into the United States;
  • repeal of Biden-era policies.

"You will see planes for deportations, reports of arrests, ICE actions in sanctuary jurisdictions. As we approach the 30 days and the first 100 days, you will see a consistent drumbeat," one CNN source said, referring to the new administration's deportation plans.

Additionally, sources claim that Trump's team will initially focus on illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds who are subject to deportation in large cities such as Washington, D.C., Denver, and Chicago. However, other immigrants discovered during these operations may also be detained.

The key players in Trump's agenda include:

  • South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who will be nominated on Friday for the position of Secretary of Homeland Security;
  • Tom Homan - the future head of the Border Patrol;
  • Stephen Miller - the future Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor.

CNN summarizes that Trump will inherit a relatively calm southern U.S. border, but his team is preparing to take actions to enhance border security and implement policies that will radically alter the immigration system of the United States.

Recall that back in late December 2024, the New York Post reported that Trump promised to initiate "the largest deportation operation" in U.S. history immediately after his inauguration.

We also reported that Trump is preparing to sign more than 100 executive orders on his first day in the White House. As has been noted, these will pertain to border security, deportations, and several other political priorities.
