U.S. President Donald Trump indirectly indicated that he had a conversation with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin.

He mentioned this during a discussion with reporters at the White House.

Trump was asked whether he had talked to Putin about the recent plane crash in Washington, where a military helicopter collided with a passenger plane carrying figure skaters, including Russian citizens.

"Did you talk to President Putin (about the plane crash)?" – was the question posed to Trump.

"No. Not about that," – he replied.

This response has already sparked interpretations in the media as confirmation of a conversation with Putin. However, it remains unclear what exactly Trump meant.
