Tyson Fury announced his retirement after suffering his second defeat to Usyk.

Star British former world boxing champion Tyson Fury has announced his retirement from professional boxing.

The 36-year-old fighter no longer plans to step into the ring after suffering two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

“Hello everyone. I’ll keep this short and clear. I want to announce my retirement from boxing. God bless you all, see you on the other side,” Fury addressed his fans.

Recall that initially in May 2024, Usyk defeated Fury and claimed the title of undisputed world champion, and then in December, in a rematch, the Ukrainian again proved to be stronger.

Fury had previously retired after his victory over Wladimir Klitschko, but returned two years later.

Throughout his career, Fury fought 37 bouts in the professional ring, winning 34 of them, one ended in a draw, and the Englishman lost to Usyk twice.
