The Supreme Court annulled the decisions of the lower courts and confirmed the legality of the National Bank's decisions regarding the revocation of licenses from LLC "Finod" and its removal from the State Register of Financial Institutions.
The corresponding decision was made on February 18, reports the NBU press service.
The panel of judges of the Supreme Court stated that the company failed to provide the required documents concerning its substantial owners and their financial status upon the regulator's request, which led to its license being revoked in August 2023.
In November of the same year, LLC "Finod" filed a lawsuit. The first instance court and the appeal court upheld the company's claim.
The Supreme Court's decision is final and cannot be appealed. The National Bank noted that the ruling "is important for ensuring transparency and stability in Ukraine's financial market."
LLC "Finod" was one of the largest currency exchange networks in Ukraine, with 432 locations across 16 regions.
