“Slovo i Dilo” analyzed the budgets of Ukrainian cities and compiled a ranking of where the most is earned and spent per resident.

The highest income and budget expenses per resident are, of course, in Kyiv: 22,400 hryvnias and 15,100 hryvnias, respectively. The capital's budget is currently 81.3% fulfilled in terms of income and 44.5% in terms of expenses.

In Lviv, the budget income per resident is 15,300 hryvnias, in Dnipro – 14,400, in Uzhhorod – 13,200, in Vinnytsia – 12,200, in Zhytomyr – 11,500, and in Lutsk and Chernivtsi – 11,200 each.

Per resident, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy have budget revenues of 10,900 hryvnias. In Ternopil, this figure is 10,800, in Chernihiv – 10,700, in Ivano-Frankivsk – 10,300, in Rivne and Sumy – 10,000 each, in Zaporizhzhia – 9,600, in Kharkiv – 9,500, and in Odesa – 9,400.

The lowest budget income per resident is in Kramatorsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson – 8,800 and 7,800 respectively.

After Kyiv, Uzhhorod has the highest amount of expenses per resident in the budget – 12,200. Dnipro follows closely behind with 12,000.

In Vinnytsia's budget, expenses per resident amount to 11,400, in Lviv – 11,300, in Khmelnytskyi – 11,100, in Lutsk – 10,700, in Zhytomyr – 10,500, in Cherkasy – 10,300, in Ivano-Frankivsk – 10,000, in Ternopil – 9,800, and in Rivne – 9,200.

Each resident of Chernivtsi and Chernihiv has 8,600 hryvnias in expenses, while Sumy has 8,400, Zaporizhzhia has 8,200, Odesa has 8,000, Kramatorsk has 7,900, and Mykolaiv and Kharkiv have 7,500 each.

In Kherson, the budget expenses per resident are only 6,100 hryvnias.
