Emergency power outages were implemented in Dnipro starting at 4:30 PM on February 11 due to damage to distribution networks during shelling. This was reported by the press service of the distribution system operator "DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks".
The company explained that following the recent Russian attacks, the equipment needs to be taken offline for repairs. Customers who still have power are asked to use it as sparingly as possible.
Recall that on the night of February 11, Russia launched a combined strike on Ukraine using drones, ballistic, cruise, and guided air missiles. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the targets of the attack were gas extraction facilities in the Poltava region. The enemy fired 124 strike drones and up to 19 missiles at Ukraine.
In the morning of February 11, "Ukrenergo" reported the introduction of emergency power outages across Ukraine due to the threat of missile strikes, and at 10:50 informed about the stabilization of the power system and the cancellation of restrictions.
