Senator Lindsey Graham, a previous supporter of Ukraine, is now calling for President Zelensky's resignation.

He was the one who initially suggested providing assistance to Ukraine in the form of rare earth metals, funded by "American taxpayers."
Сенатор Линдси Грэм, ранее выступавший в поддержку Украины, призывает к отставке Зеленского.

According to a BBC correspondent from the White House, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has expressed critical views regarding the behavior of the President of Ukraine during his meeting with Donald Trump.

Graham stated that Zelensky should either resign or delegate the negotiations to someone else after what transpired. Additionally, he believes that before signing any agreement on minerals, Zelensky should not have raised the issues of a ceasefire or security guarantees.

Furthermore, the senator mentioned during an upcoming interview with Fox News, scheduled for the evening (around 1:00 AM Kyiv time), that Zelensky should apologize to the American people.

Graham has consistently supported Ukraine (even leading to a criminal case against him in Russia for this), and this support continued even after Trump labeled Zelensky a dictator. However, the senator has always shown extreme loyalty to Trump.

It is worth noting that long before discussions about Ukraine's mineral resources began, Lindsey Graham was promoting the idea—publicly stating it on American television—that Ukrainians should repay the aid provided by "American taxpayers" with rare earth metals.

Background. Meanwhile, U.S. lawmakers have commented on the scandal during the Trump-Zelensky meeting, calling it "a disgrace for America." Many of them, including Republicans, have expressed their support for the Ukrainian president.
