Starting March 1, medication prices in Ukraine will decrease by 30%, announced Zelensky.

Starting from March 1, 2025, the most essential medications in Ukraine will decrease in price by 30%. This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during his evening address on February 12.

Zelensky stated that a decision was made during the National Security and Defense Council meeting to lower the prices of 100 of the most popular medications by 30%.

"There is a way to reduce the price of the top 100 medical products by 30% starting March 1. This applies to the most crucial medications for our people," — said the head of state.

According to Zelensky, the Government will soon provide Ukrainians with all the details.

"The changes must be significant and positive for millions of Ukrainians. This is the personal responsibility of officials and specifically the Minister of Health," — the president stated.

On February 10, the website of the "Pharmaceutical Professional Association of Ukraine" reported that they had sent a Declaration to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding collaboration on reducing the cost of medications.

Recall that on February 12, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported an exceedance of the epidemic threshold for ARVI in 5 regions of Ukraine and the possibility of introducing "local quarantines".
