Зеленський сообщил, что россияне нанесли удары по энергетике Украины, запустив более 40 ракет и 70 дронов.

The Russian army has launched another strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, utilizing various types of missiles and drones.

President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned this in his Telegram.

“Another massive Russian attack. It’s the middle of winter, and the target for the Russians remains unchanged: our energy sector. Among the targets are gas infrastructure and energy facilities that ensure the normal life of people,” the statement reads.

According to the president, over 40 missiles were fired, including ballistic ones (at least 30 were destroyed). Additionally, the enemy struck with over 70 attack drones at night.

“Thanks to our air defense, we are maintaining the operation of our energy system with the involvement of all engaged units,” Zelensky stated.

He also noted that Ukraine continuously requires enhancement of its existing air shield capabilities. Partners at the NATO summit in Washington and in the "Ramstein" format made promises that have not yet been fully realized.

“We discussed licenses for the production of air defense systems and anti-missiles, which could become one of the effective security guarantees for Ukraine, and this is also realistic and needs to be implemented,” the head of state emphasized.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the enemy attacked the energy infrastructure in the Lviv region. Hostile cruise missiles were recorded in the area.
