Russians have deployed additional forces from the National Guard to the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
"The Russians have increased the number of checkpoints in settlements along the line of combat contact. Additionally, extra National Guard forces have arrived in the region to conduct selective inspections," the statement reads.
The National Resistance Center emphasized that the occupiers have also restricted the free movement of the local population.
"The enemy fears the transfer of information to the Defense Forces regarding the placement of occupying personnel in residential areas of the captured settlements," the NRC noted.
They also urged residents to leave the community of the occupied city of Vasylivka during the potential escalation of hostilities.
Recall that on January 7, the National Resistance Center reported that Ukrainians in occupation were forbidden from topping up their mobile accounts without a Russian passport.
