Russia launched KAB strikes on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in 13 deaths and numerous injuries, while the city observes a day of mourning (photos included).

According to rescuers, as a result of the attack by Russia, four administrative buildings, 27 vehicles, and a tram were damaged. Additionally, the number of injured has increased.

As a result of the Russian strike with guided aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia on January 8, 13 people lost their lives, and 32 others were injured. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address.

"There was a strike by Russian bombs on the city, specifically targeting civilians. Unfortunately, 13 people have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones. 32 individuals are injured. Assistance is being provided to everyone," Zelensky stated.

According to him, this strike once again confirmed that Russia is only seeking war and casualties.

At the same time, the State Emergency Service reported that due to the enemy strike, 13 people were killed, and 63 were affected.

"A fire in an administrative building covering an area of 800 square meters and in three vehicles has been extinguished. In total, 4 administrative buildings, 27 vehicles, and a tram were damaged," the statement said.

The State Emergency Service also noted that emergency rescue operations have been completed.

Furthermore, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, pointed out that as a result of the Russian attack, at least 80 people sought medical assistance in hospitals.

According to Fedorov, due to the enemy attacks, a Day of Mourning will be declared for the third time this month in Zaporizhzhia.

As a reminder, earlier on January 8, Ivan Fedorov reported that the number of casualties from the Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia had increased.
