The Regulatory Committee of the Verkhovna Rada recommends removing the leader of "European Solidarity," Petro Poroshenko, from plenary sessions from February to September 2025.
Co-chair of the faction, Iryna Herashchenko, reported this information.
The initiative was supported by six members of the committee, three abstained, and one voted against. According to Herashchenko, Poroshenko is to be suspended from the Council sessions for six months, throughout the entire 13th session – during wartime, continuous plenary sessions last for the entire session.
Earlier, members of the "European Solidarity" party stated that they would attempt to suspend Poroshenko for insulting "Servant of the People" deputy Bohdan Yaremenko during a private conversation on January 19.
