The film crew of the "Donbass Realities" project came under fire while filming military operations in the Bakhmut direction in the Donetsk region. The corresponding video has been released on the project's YouTube channel.
As the journalists noted, the first shell landed close to military correspondent Roman Pahulich and the soldiers he was communicating with.
"As a result, Roman Pahulich sustained a concussion, while two soldiers received minor injuries. Shrapnel did not hit operator Pavel Kholodov. All the injured were taken to a stabilization point where they received first aid," the statement reads.
The video shows how a Russian shell strikes near Ukrainian soldiers and journalists. The footage is subtitled, indicating that the projectile exploded three meters away from the film crew.
The journalists also demonstrated how, immediately after the explosion, first medical assistance is provided to the injured, after which the wounded are evacuated to the stabilization point.
"Currently, there is no threat to the lives of the injured soldiers and crew members," noted "Donbass Realities."
It is worth mentioning that on October 19, the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned bloggers and media about penalties for distorting the actions of the TCC.
On October 18, Ukrainian journalist Maxim Butkevich was released from captivity.
