The Verkhovna Rada has adopted the ratification of the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and the Government of Finland regarding projects funded under the Finnish-Ukrainian Investment Fund program. A total of 253 deputies voted in favor.

This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The Framework Agreement stipulates that the Finnish side will provide support in the form of concessional loans, which will be used to finance projects aimed at the socio-economic development of Ukraine.

As the initiators explain, the approval of the project will allow for the completion of all internal state procedures necessary for the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and Finland regarding projects funded under the Finnish-Ukrainian Investment Fund program, signed on November 12, 2024, in Kyiv.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the Verkhovna Rada ratified a loan agreement with Britain. Under this agreement, the United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with up to £2 billion for defense and security sector investments.
