The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that a regrouping of Ukrainian troops has taken place in the Novopavlivskyi direction, which has slowed the advance of Russian forces in most threatening areas.
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In light of the Russian attempts to breach the defense of Ukrainian troops and capture three settlements in the Donetsk region in the Novopavlivskyi direction, the commander worked with the brigades defending this area.
“However, we have taken a series of measures to enhance the interaction of military units and subdivisions, and the regrouping of troops has slowed the enemy's advance in most threatening areas,” Syrskyi noted.
The Commander reported that at the command posts, he listened to the commander of the operational-tactical grouping "Donetsk," Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, and the brigade commanders regarding combat operations, needs, and issues. He issued all necessary orders to address these matters.
Oleksandr Syrskyi commented that the Russians' goal to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region has remained unchanged for over three years. He noted that the losses of the occupiers continue to increase, while their plans remain unfulfilled. The Ukrainian defense forces inflict maximum losses on personnel and equipment of the Russian Federation.
