Nearly one-third of the relocated companies operate in wholesale trade (32%), while the top three also include businesses in construction (6%) and real estate (4.8%).
“The largest number of businesses left Kyiv – 36.6%, or 4,000 companies. Another 10% moved from Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. According to its data, in 2024, companies most frequently relocated from Kyiv to the Kyiv region (775 companies), from Kyiv to Dnipropetrovsk region (575), and from Kyiv region back to Kyiv (563).
Opendatabot highlighted one company that relocated multiple times last year.
“The wholesale trade company ‘Albakor’ (with a revenue of 4 billion UAH) relocated five times last year from Zaporizhzhia region to Dnipropetrovsk and back. Currently, the business is registered in Dnipropetrovsk region,” the report stated.
