Priest of the OCU Yaroslav Yasenets urged employees of the TCC to pray to Saint John the Warrior for assistance in capturing draft evaders. He shared his video message on YouTube.
According to him, Saint John is the patron of warriors, and he has been prayed to frequently for the safe return of missing persons, as well as for runaway slaves and servants.
"Now that slavery has been abolished, we hardly have any servants… I suggest that all TCC employees pray and ask Saint John the Warrior to help find and catch draft evaders," he stated.
In his view, during a major war, draft evaders are behaving incorrectly and should face coercive measures. In the same video, he mentioned that orders from authorities that contradict God's commandments should never be followed.
"Whoever gives them to you: local, military, or state administrations. Godless orders must not be obeyed," the priest remarked.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian MP Alexander Fedienko spoke about the mobilization of an officially reserved employee of a critical enterprise in Mykolaiv. He can no longer be demobilized or returned to work.
Previously, lawyers stated that postponement of mobilization in Ukraine does not need to be renewed every three months. If the TCC set it for one year, the decision cannot be revoked.
