Entrepreneurs will receive over 80 million UAH as part of the second wave of the "Own Business" initiative.

The funds will be distributed among 340 entrepreneurs.

The winners of the second wave of the government program "Own Business" will receive 340 grants for the development or establishment of their own businesses. This initiative will create over 500 jobs.

The State Employment Service reports this information.

The most popular sectors among the program winners included: wholesale and retail trade, vehicle repair (34%), temporary accommodation and food services (13%), manufacturing (12%), other services (9%), and healthcare and social assistance (8%).

The majority of the grants were awarded to women – 56%, while men received 37%, and legal entities accounted for 7%. The leading regions are Kyiv (16%), Lviv (12%), Kharkiv (9%), Ivano-Frankivsk (8%), and Rivne (7%).

According to the state service, in 2025, within the second wave of "Own Business," entrepreneurs aged 18 to 25 can receive grants of up to 150,000 UAH. Over 100 Ukrainians have benefited from this support.

Half of the winners from the second wave of the program are combat participants, with 67% of them being active entrepreneurs.
Regarding the veterans' direction of "Own Business," there are 64 winners in this wave. They have received grants totaling 30 million UAH and will create more than a hundred new jobs.

In total, over 1,000 veterans have utilized the "Own Business" program since its inception. Their businesses have created over 2,000 jobs.

Note. Under the "Own Business" program from the Ministry of Economy and the State Employment Service, micro-grants of up to 250,000 UAH can be obtained for starting or expanding a business. Combat participants or individuals with disabilities due to the war, as well as spouses within the veterans' direction, can receive up to 1 million UAH. Meanwhile, youth under 25 years old can receive a grant of up to 150,000 UAH.
