Employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine completed rescue operations on the evening of January 18, with the latest reports indicating three fatalities and three injuries.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), Timur Tkachенко, reported that as a result of the ballistic attack on Kyiv, two men aged 43 and 25, as well as a 41-year-old woman, lost their lives. The Prosecutor General's Office specified that a security guard of a dining establishment and a man and woman who were in the minibus nearby were among the deceased. Residents noted that explosions in the capital occurred even before the alarm was announced.

It is worth recalling that Yuri Ihnat, head of the Air Force Command's communications department, reported that in the morning of January 18, one of the two ballistic missiles aimed at the capital was shot down at a low altitude, leading to significant destruction.
