Odessa activist and head of the "Public Safety Council," Mark Gordienko, stated that Alexander Komarovsky, an assistant to a deputy of the Kryvyi Rih City Council, caused a traffic accident in Odessa while under the influence of drugs. He posted this on his Facebook page on January 3.
According to Mark Gordienko, the deputy's assistant from Kryvyi Rih crashed into his brother's car, attempted to flee the scene, locked himself in the vehicle, and ignored police demands for an hour before being apprehended.
The activist noted that a preliminary inspection of the offender's car revealed drugs, kilogram packages of caviar, and a grenade resembling a training device. He also emphasized that the previously detained individual had already been caught driving under the influence.
"A drugged-up beast from Kryvyi Rih crashes head-on into my brother's car. Why a beast? This 'handsome' has five records for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and that's just for 2024," — he wrote.
Mark Gordienko published a video of the arrest and a photo of Alexander Komarovsky's ID, which indicates that he is a "public assistant to the deputy of the Kryvyi Rih City Council, Inna Potapova."
"I want to commend the actions of our patrol police, the investigative operational group, and the paramedics; they acted absolutely professionally," — added the activist.
As of the time of this news publication, the Patrol Police of the Odessa region had not commented on the incident.
Recall that on January 2, footage of the aftermath of a traffic accident in Kyiv surfaced, during which a truck breached a barrier and fell off a bridge.
Earlier, on December 30, a fatal accident occurred in the village of Nastashino in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, resulting in the deaths of five young people.
