Unsuccessful "work": a drug dealer was arrested in Mykolaiv while attempting to make a delivery.

In Mykolaiv, police apprehended a drug dealer in possession of narcotics.

This was reported by the police press service.

Officers noticed the 26-year-old suspect during a patrol due to his suspicious behavior. Upon checking the young man's documents, he admitted to carrying narcotics.

The perpetrator told law enforcement that he had come to Mykolaiv for illegal earnings. The day before, he had purchased a narcotic substance via social media, which he distributed in Mykolaiv in the form of so-called "stash" placements, for which he received payment.

As a result of a rapid test, investigators confirmed that the substance from the package contained narcotics.

The suspect was detained by the police under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The confiscated packages were sent for examination.

For his actions, the suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
