Astro-meteorologists warned that geomagnetic calm on the star would not last long. A new sunspot is developing on the Sun, preparing for potential flares.
Solar activity has remained low for the third consecutive day, but soon the calm may come to an end. This information was provided by scientists from the space weather research site Spaceweather.
According to them, a new sunspot is appearing over the southeastern limb of the Sun. It appears large and complex, suggesting it could be a source of solar flares.
However, astro-meteorologists from the site Meteoagent, who create their forecasts using information from NOAA, TESIS, and various international meteorological laboratories, are confident that a geomagnetic storm has already affected our planet.
Currently, on October 23, a strong magnetic storm is ongoing at level 5. From October 24 to 27, minimal solar activity is forecasted at levels 2-3.
Let us recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported on the expected weather in different regions of Ukraine for October 23.
