The Ministry of Defense has approved the domestic aviation complex Poseidon for operational use.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified the Poseidon unmanned aerial complex. This Ukrainian drone is now authorized for use in the Defense Forces units.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense noted that these aircraft are equipped with electric engines and a modern navigation system.

What makes it unique is its ability to perform tasks in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees to +45 degrees and during strong winds. The battery charge lasts for several hours of continuous operation.

"The operational altitude of these drones is beyond the reach of many enemy air defense firepower," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Dmitry Klimenko.

Previously, RBK-Ukraine reported that over 900 new types of weapons and military equipment were approved for use last year.

In particular, the Ministry of Defense recently codified and approved for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine the high-mobility armored vehicle "Zubr".

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved the "Oncilla-Shturm" armored personnel carrier for use. This armored vehicle is domestically produced and is capable of performing a wide range of tasks.
