Manchester City spent nearly as much on player acquisitions as all other Premier League teams combined.

The current season for ‘Manchester City’ is going much worse than previous ones – Pep Guardiola's team is showing poor results and has nearly said goodbye to its chances of winning the championship.

In an effort to improve their performance, the club has made significant investments in the transfer market.

‘Manchester City’ spent between €216 million to €223 million on acquiring new players in January and February, according to various reports.

Interestingly, the other 19 clubs in the top tier of the English championship collectively spent only slightly more – around €236 million.
