The Ukrainian fast-food chain "Lviv Croissants" has opened its first restaurant in Cannes. Thus, France has become the fifth country outside of Ukraine where the Ukrainian chain is now operating, according to the company's press release dated February 3.

Founded in Lviv in 2015, the chain has since expanded to over 196 establishments in Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, the USA, and now France. The franchise is renowned for its croissants with sweet and savory fillings.

"Lviv Croissants" stated that they chose Cannes as their first French location "due to the impressive tourist influx and high prospects for the gastronomic business."

The restaurant, covering an area of 70 square meters, is located in the center of Cannes, in the bustling shopping district of Rue d'Antibes. The new venue accommodates 13 people indoors and 24 on the terrace during the warmer months.

The company spent six months researching the local market and culinary preferences before opening the new location. Local chefs were hired to create croissant fillings that will be served exclusively in France.

The French menu features over 35 options, including a croissant with goat cheese, honey, and nuts, a croissant with mortadella, pear, and gorgonzola, as well as a croissant with raclette cheese and dried ham.

"Everything else remains unchanged: the traditional Lviv atmosphere, delicious quality coffee, and high service standards. This is what our visitors around the world know and love us for," the company's press release stated.

The chain announced plans to open more locations in France and also launch a delivery service.
