Fake receipts were indeed issued at the "Zarya" pool in Mykolaiv: four employees dismissed from the utility company
In Mykolaiv, the head of the Central City Stadium, Volodymyr Kossy, and the director of the "Zarya" sports complex, Vitaliy Volkov, were dismissed following an investigation into the fake receipts that were issued to pool visitors.
This was reported by the city mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, during the "Dialogue" program.
According to him, an investigation was conducted, confirming the information that at the "Zarya" pool, when purchasing subscriptions with cash, residents were given pre-printed receipts from other visitors. He emphasized that this scheme was not systematic; however, the decision was made to dismiss four individuals.
- There was no systemic problem, but it did exist. Four people were dismissed, including the manager, his deputy, an administrator, and an accountant. Today, we are trying to demonstrate that in Mykolaiv, we put a stop to any systematic phenomena known as corruption. Such practices should not exist at all. When someone used an old receipt instead of another, or something similar. It wasn't systematic, but it did happen. I made that decision, and that's how we resolved the issue, - said Oleksandr Senkevych.
As previously reported, at a meeting of the commission on human rights, children, family, legality, and transparency of the Mykolaiv City Council, deputy Artem Ilyuk, referencing journalists' investigation, stated that in Mykolaiv, at the city pool "Zarya," residents are issued pre-printed receipts from other visitors when purchasing subscriptions with cash.
The city mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, announced the vacancy for the director of the "Central City Stadium" utility company.
