North Korea has already lost approximately 4,000 soldiers in the war alongside Russia.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting in the "Ramstein" format.
“Putin is not only continuing his investments in aggression; he is doubling them. He has even started recruiting soldiers from North Korea to prolong this war. North Korea is learning about modern warfare. They do not value their people. And we know this. They are losing them – 4,000 as of now,” the president declared.
At the same time, Zelensky noted that North Korea is gaining cheap experience “to re-export the war.”
He also added that motivation is crucial for victory in this war, and it depends on successful actions and agreements, allowing Ukrainian forces to intercept missiles and keep Russian aviation at bay. In this context, Kyiv and Washington have discussed licensing the production of air defense systems on Ukrainian territory.
Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Zelensky confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured several North Korean soldiers. They were seriously injured, and it was not possible to save them.
