The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Serhiy Kyslytsia as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
This is mentioned in the Cabinet's order dated February 12.
“Appoint Serhiy Olegovych Kyslytsia as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine,” the document states.
It is known that Serhiy Kyslytsia began his diplomatic career in 1992. He has held positions in embassies in various countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ukrainian representations in international organizations.
He is proficient in four foreign languages: English, Russian, Spanish, and French.
Since 2019, Serhiy Kyslytsia has served as the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations. Since 2021, he has also held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. In December 2024, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed him from these positions.
