Just like in Hollywood: In Odessa, a driver made an unexpected detour and attempted to flee from the police (video).

In Odessa, patrol police attempted to stop a traffic violator by blocking their vehicle on the road. However, the offender managed to escape, prompting law enforcement to continue the pursuit. The corresponding video was shared on one of the local Telegram channels.

The footage, captured by a bystander, shows police blocking a passenger car at the intersection with Varnenska Street. After that, the officers rushed out of their vehicle and tried to drag the offender out.

However, when the law enforcement attempted to apprehend the violator, they made a sudden move and fled the scene. The police quickly returned to their car and resumed the chase. It remains unclear how this situation ended.

At the time of this publication, the Patrol Police Department of the Odessa region had not commented on the incident.

We also reported that on October 10, police in the Rivne region detained a driver who was under the influence of narcotics and attempted to evade law enforcement. During the escape, the offender called 102 and reported that police cars were pursuing him.
