Retirees who continue to work or are individual entrepreneurs must notify the government of their status. If they fail to do so within 10 days, they may be required to return any excess pension payments. The specifics of pension accrual were explained on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
The portal clarified the details of paragraph 2 of article 16 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance". The article outlines the rights and obligations of citizens applying for pension benefits based on their insurance record. Among other things, it states that working retirees must report their employment status within 10 days of any change. If they do not comply, they will be required to repay any unlawfully accrued funds, as warned by the Pension Fund.

We remind you that on October 15, the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region listed eight cases in which pension payments may be terminated. Additionally, the agency identified categories of Ukrainians who are entitled to a higher pension of at least 8,000 UAH.
