According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Russian occupiers targeted a civilian enterprise, leading to a large-scale fire.

Late in the evening on January 27, Russian occupation forces struck Kharkiv, resulting in a fire breaking out in one of the districts of Kharkiv. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.

"There has been a hit in the city. Preliminary information indicates the Kholodnohirskiy district. A fire is ongoing at the site," the message states.

He later clarified that the strike targeted a civilian enterprise in the Novobavarsky district.

"There is a large-scale fire at the impact site. All relevant services are working," Terekhov noted.

It is important to mention that media reported an explosion in Kharkiv around 11:00 PM.

At the time of publication, there was no information about casualties resulting from the Russian attack.

Recall that on the night of January 24 to 25, the Russian Armed Forces launched "Shahed" drones over Ukraine, causing destruction to a 9-story building in the Kyiv region.
