The CEO of Steko, Sergey Polozhai, who on October 12 in Dnipro referred to the employees of the Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support as "devils" and told them to "dig trenches," has reached out to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, asking for assistance in unblocking the operation of his factory, which he claims is being hindered by the TCK. This was reported by the press service of Steko on their Facebook page.

"Currently, our factory's operations are blocked by representatives of the TCK, which significantly impacts the enterprise's functioning. We request your help in resolving this issue so we can continue to work and support you and our employees," the message states.

Steko emphasized that the company continuously supports the Armed Forces both financially and materially, but has not previously made public statements about this. Specifically, they mentioned that they provide trucks with wooden crates for the construction of trenches, bunkers, fortifications, or temporary buildings, as well as firewood for heating.

"The situation has proven that it is important to talk about this, so we plan to share this information openly. Therefore, if you are near Dnipro or Lviv and have the opportunity to visit us, we would be happy to assist you," the company’s press service explained.

Additionally, the enterprise, on behalf of director Sergey Polozhai, once again apologized to the military.

"We sincerely apologize once again for any misunderstandings that may have arisen from the situation negatively portrayed on the internet. We express our deep gratitude and appreciate your incredible contribution to the defense of the country," the company stated.

Scandal with TCK Involving Steko's CEO

On October 12 in Dnipro, the CEO of the window manufacturing company Steko, Sergey Polozhai acted aggressively and used profane language towards a TCK employee, specifically saying: "you soldier — go dig." Later, the man wrote an emotional post where he referred to TCK representatives as "devils" who allegedly wanted to take him to the military enlistment office.

On October 13, the company Steko announced that the situation involving Sergey Polozhai was presented in a distorted manner. In turn, the Dnipropetrovsk regional TCK and SP called Polozhai's behavior disgraceful and one that insults and discredits the servicemen of TCK and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole.

It should be noted that on October 14 in Dnipro, the police opened a criminal case regarding the hooligan actions of Steko's CEO.
