Financial Times: Трамп все еще не знает, как остановить войну и пока не планирует прекращать помощь Украине.

The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, currently does not know how to end the war and has no plans to halt the flow of American military aid to Ukraine.

Source. This information is reported by the British newspaper Financial Times, citing European officials.

According to FT, two sources among European officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that based on the content of discussions with Trump's team, they have yet to determine how to stop the war, and American aid will continue to arrive in Ukraine even after Trump's inauguration on January 20.

"The entire team is obsessed with the idea of strength and the necessity to appear strong, so they are recalibrating their approach to Ukraine," one of the FT sources said.

Donald Trump stated this week that he hopes to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine within six months – although during the campaign, he claimed he would definitely stop the war within a day of taking office as president.

Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said Wednesday on Fox News that Trump aims to stop the war within 100 days.

Additionally, the newspaper reminds that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni assured journalists last week, after meeting with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence, that the U.S. will not cease providing aid to Ukraine.

"I do not foresee a withdrawal of the U.S. Trump will likely move towards a peaceful resolution, but I do not believe that means he will abandon Ukraine," Meloni stated.
