The children of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — 20-year-old Oleksandra and 11-year-old Kyrylo — are currently in Ukraine during the war. He shared this in an interview with the Italian TV channel RaiNews24.

According to Zelensky, his children are his happiness, one of the most significant positive things that can happen in a person's life. His daughter studies in Kyiv, while his son is still in school.

"They are all in the capital, experiencing this war alongside other children. When the sirens sound, during rocket attacks — they go to bomb shelters in schools and universities. But this is the reality. I am very glad they are in Ukraine. They serve as an example to others. If children are not on the streets, if they are not in homes, if we do not see their eyes, then the question arises, who are we fighting for? We are fighting for their values, yes, as well as our own, but above all — for the future of our children. And it is very important that they are in Ukraine," — noted President Volodymyr Zelensky.

It is worth mentioning that in November 2024, First Lady Olena Zelenska stated that during the full-scale war, she and Volodymyr Zelensky did not evacuate their children from Ukraine. According to her, she can go on business trips, but the children remain at home.

In May 2024, Olena Zelenska admitted that her family has been living separately for two years, but the president has started to see his family more often.
