The former host of Medvedchuk's TV channels, known for spreading Russian propaganda, has been charged with suspicion.

According to the investigation, during the broadcasts, the host and his guests repeatedly justified Russia's aggression and the war crimes committed by the occupiers, particularly the missile strikes on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure, as stated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Former host of pro-Russian politicians' channels Viktor Medvedchuk and Yevhen Murayev, Max Nazarov, who spread Russian propaganda while in Kyiv, has been suspected by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). He is accused of anti-Ukrainian activities. This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The SBU has gathered a significant amount of evidence and received conclusions from independent expert assessments that confirmed the anti-Ukrainian activities of the former host of the sanctioned channels "Our" and "NewsOne", which belonged to Viktor Medvedchuk and Yevhen Murayev.

As reported by journalist Andriy Smoliy, the case concerns the former host of the channels "Our" and "NewsOne", Nazar Dioditse, known by the alias Max Nazarov.

According to the case materials, after the onset of the full-scale war, the suspect created his own channel on the video hosting platform "YouTube", where he continued to disseminate Kremlin narratives, regularly inviting pro-Russian "political experts" and pro-Kremlin bloggers, a significant portion of whom are currently hiding in Russia.

Investigators from the Security Service informed the former host of the suspicion under parts 2 and 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The issue of selecting a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect is currently being addressed. He faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

It is worth noting that on January 18, it was reported that the SBU detained a top manager of one of Ukraine's largest banks for donations to the Russian army.
