The drones of the "Shahed" type launched by Russia have once again violated the airspace of Moldova.
This time, two drones exploded on Moldovan territory, as reported by the country's president, Maia Sandu.
“The war of Russia against Ukraine has crossed the border into Moldova once more. The 'Shahed' drones violated our airspace, and two of them exploded on our land, endangering the lives of Moldovans,” – wrote she on social media platform X.
“Russia disrespects borders, attacks civilians, and spreads terror. Its war against Ukraine is criminal. Leave us, peaceful nations, in peace,” – emphasized the president.
Background. It is worth noting that earlier, Chisinau reacted to Patrushev's statement that Moldova "will soon become part of another state or disappear." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova deemed these words an unacceptable interference in the country's internal affairs.
