Rain, wet snow, and gusty winds: what will the weather be like on Ukraine's Unity Day?

The weather tomorrow, on Ukraine's Unity Day, is expected to be cloudy but relatively warm. In the west, north, center, and south, precipitation is anticipated in some areas. The eastern part of the country will remain dry. The weather forecast was shared by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.

Weather in Ukraine: Forecast for January 22

In Kyiv, the weather tomorrow is expected to be cloudy, with rain and wet snow expected in the afternoon and evening. The prevailing wind will be from the southeast and fairly gusty. Nighttime temperatures will be around zero, while daytime temperatures will rise to +2...+3 degrees.

Overall, the weather in Ukraine tomorrow will be relatively warm, with temperatures ranging from +1...+4 degrees, and up to +7 degrees in the south.

In the eastern regions, temperatures are forecasted to range from -1 to +2 degrees.

"Precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow will occur in some areas in the west, north, center, and south. The eastern regions will remain free of precipitation," noted Didenko.

The wind tomorrow will blow from the southeast, occasionally gusty, with gusts possible in the east reaching 15-20 m/s.

According to Didenko, from January 24, the air temperature in Ukraine will rise by several degrees.

The Ukrhydrometcentre reported that fog is expected during the night and morning of January 22. Visibility will be between 200-500 meters.

Recall that meteorologist Natalia Ptukha from the Ukrhydrometcentre stated that the coldest days will be January 22 and 23, while the highest temperatures are expected on January 26 and 27.

On January 7, temperature records were recorded in 11 cities in Ukraine.
