7,997 companies have joined the "White Business Club." However, among the participants, there are businesses linked to sanctioned individuals.
As reported by Opendatabot.
At the onset of the full-scale invasion, 24 companies within the club had Russian owners. Currently, none of these businesses officially has any Russian ties. Although there is a moratorium in Ukraine on changing registration details for companies with Russian owners, there are a few exceptions clearly defined by law.
Analysts have identified businesses connected to sanctioned individuals through joint ventures. For instance, two companies belong to the Kozak brothers' group, whose owners are linked to Viktor Medvedchuk's group. The list also includes businesses associated with the Alef corporation, owned by the sanctioned Vadym Yermolaev, and Burisma Group, whose owner is listed in the Registry of Corrupt Officials.
Additionally, two businesses from Yuriy Boyko's group made it into the "club" – sanctions were imposed on him after the publication of the list.
In total, 3,300 or 42% of companies in the "White Business Club" earn between 10 and 100 million UAH annually.
