In Lviv, a girl assaulted her boyfriend with a bouquet of roses during an argument, causing him minor bodily injuries, and received a punishment for the inflicted harm. This is stated in the text of the decision by the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv, which was published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
The ruling mentions that the incident occurred on December 6, 2024, at St. Theodore Square. At that time, the boyfriend arrived for a meeting with a bouquet of roses, but the girl did not appreciate her partner's romantic gift.
A quarrel arose between the couple due to jealousy, and in response, the girl began to strike her boyfriend on the head, arms, and back with the bouquet of roses. Subsequently, the accused found a metal stick and hit her boyfriend another 10 times.
The court ruling states that the victim sustained minor injuries — bruises, abrasions, scratches, and subcutaneous hemorrhages, among others. After the beating, the man reported the incident to the police and documented his injuries. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the girl under part 1 of article 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (minor bodily injuries).
The suspect admitted her guilt and expressed remorse for her actions, but she did not appear in court. Judge Oleksandr Kytov took the circumstances of the case into account and issued a ruling — to find the girl guilty of committing the crime and to impose a sentence of 100 hours of community service.
Subsequently, the publication Zaxid.net reported additional details about the accused. The girl's name is Yuliia Kulyk, and she is a student at the Lviv Professional College of Fashion Industry.
