Поступили сигналы о поддержке. Генеральный секретарь НАТО прокомментировал стратегию достижения победы для Украины.

NATO allies want Ukraine to emerge victorious in its conflict with Russia. Ukraine will receive the assistance it requires from the Alliance.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at a press conference during a meeting of defense ministers.

"We all want Ukraine to win. We want Putin to abandon his ambitions. This is about our values, our collective security. For all these reasons, we will continue to do everything possible to ensure Ukraine has what it needs. This includes material support, military, and humanitarian assistance. In other words, all the support necessary for it to fend off Russian attacks," Rutte stated.

He added that during the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting on October 17, allies did not discuss each point of the victory plan in detail. However, there were signals of support among partners.

"There were clear signals in the room that the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian president are receiving support from our allies. We will not discuss anything without Ukraine," the Secretary General added.

According to Rutte, allies discussed how they should provide support to Ukraine.

"Ukraine will receive the assistance it needs. The Ukrainian defense industry will continue to operate. They are currently producing drones and other equipment very well. And, of course, we will provide support in terms of training and similar initiatives. To ensure this continues going forward. This is where we have focused our attention," he said.

Ukraine's Victory Plan

Recall that on October 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented the victory plan in parliament and revealed its main details. The plan consists of five points (defense, military, deterrence, security). It also includes a fast-track invitation for Ukraine to join NATO.

On October 17, Zelensky presented the plan to European leaders in Brussels.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected the main points of the Ukrainian plan, particularly those concerning long-range weapons and NATO membership.

President Biden's administration stated that reforms are needed for Ukraine's NATO membership.
