"More comfortable ahead": A meteorologist has shared when Ukrainians can expect dry weather.

Starting from October 15, a shift in air currents will occur over Ukraine—over the next few days, air masses from northern latitudes will arrive, leading to potential frosts on the ground and in the air during the night in some regions. Meteorologist Natalia Ptukha from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center explained when sunny and dry weather will arrive in Ukraine, reports "RBK-Ukraine".

As we are currently in mid-October, the weather can change frequently. Meanwhile, most regions of Ukraine can expect temperatures between +6 and +13 degrees.

It may be slightly warmer in Transcarpathia and southern Ukraine, reaching up to 15 degrees Celsius.

"For instance, regarding precipitation, we may see some today, October 15, and tomorrow. These residual processes are due to inactive atmospheric fronts associated with the depression located to the north of Ukraine," the meteorologist noted.

At the same time, starting Thursday, October 17, a high-pressure area will influence weather patterns in Ukraine, leading to clearer skies and nighttime frosts.

"However, during the day, conditions will be more comfortable due to reduced wind," Ptukha added.

Overall, until the end of this week and into the beginning of next week, Ukraine will experience predominantly dry weather.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has warned citizens that temperatures will drop significantly in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, as well as in northern and western regions.

In Kyiv and the surrounding area, frosts are expected starting Thursday, October 17.

Additionally, a second (orange) level of danger has been declared in Ukraine. The SES reminded that it is advisable to ascend mountains only in favorable weather conditions.

Meteorologist Natalia Didenko confirmed that nighttime temperatures in Ukraine will drop to 0–3 degrees, with daytime temperatures rising to +9…+12 degrees, and up to +16 degrees in Transcarpathia.

"Expect no precipitation and even some sunshine. In the north, there may be occasional rain and sleet, with temperatures between +8 and +11 degrees. In central regions, rain is expected in places, with daytime temperatures of +9…+13 degrees," Didenko explained.

In Kyiv on Wednesday, October 16, cloudy and humid weather with periodic rain is anticipated. It will be cold at night, with temperatures around +3…+4 degrees, and during the day around +10 degrees.
