On Thursday, February 27, Ukrainians can expect a gradual warming. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko on her Facebook.
Tomorrow, February 27, the warmest regions in Ukraine will be the western areas, with daytime temperatures expected to reach +5 to +11 degrees.
The eastern regions will be cooler, with temperatures ranging from -2 to -6 degrees. In the rest of Ukraine, the temperature throughout the day on February 27 will be between +1 and +5 degrees.
However, during the night, winter temperatures will still be felt: -5 to -12 degrees, with -11 to -15 degrees in the east and -1 to -6 degrees in the west.
No precipitation is expected on Thursday. In the west, it may be occasionally cloudy.
In the capital, precipitation is unlikely. At night, temperatures will range from -5 to -7 degrees, and during the day it will warm up to +2 to +4 degrees.
The dry, frosty air will gradually give way to warmer temperatures. Although the nights will warm up, the cloudy and humid weather during the day will create discomfort, according to Natalka Didenko.
February 28 — March 1, 2 will see wet and windy conditions in most regions of Ukraine. Wet snow is also expected.
"So for now, enjoy the sunshine if you have it, prepare your heads and bodies for the changing weather, and together we will soon welcome spring," the presenter added.
The meteorological resource Ventusky confirms the data on precipitation in the first days of spring 2025. After the warming, snowfalls will cover the capital and other cities in Ukraine, but they will cease by March 3.
Let’s remind where the snowfalls will occur in the first days of March.
