The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with up to £2 billion for the purchase of air defense systems and missiles for air defense.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this information.
“Today, the government approved a draft law on the ratification of the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom regarding support for the development of our defense capabilities,” he noted.
According to the head of the government, this agreement also includes funds for organizing repair bases for military equipment and other armaments. It is noted that such bases will also be located in Ukraine.
“Thanks to this, we will be able to significantly strengthen our defense capability,” Shmyhal emphasized.
