The names of two more victims from the Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih have become known: 20-year-old Alexey and 61-year-old Alena, who were related. Alena was the grandmother of young Alexey, who went out to meet her grandson after the first explosion rang out in the city. The ballistic attack continued, and the second strike caught the family outside, resulting in both dying on the spot. This was reported by the local Telegram channel "SVOI".

The tragedy occurred near the entrance of the five-story building where the family lived. The grandmother was waiting for her grandson and his aunt to return home: Alexey was supposed to pick up his aunt from the educational institution where she worked, and they were to come home together.

The young man did just that: he ran to his aunt, with whom everything was fine, and they hurried home together. Alexey's grandmother descended to the first floor of the building to open the door for her family in the entrance. The second missile strike occurred just as the family met in the yard of their own home.

It is also reported that along with the grandmother and grandson, their 50-year-old neighbor was killed. As for the young man’s aunt, she sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Medical professionals are currently fighting for her life.

It is known that 20-year-old Alexey was a student at a pedagogical university. He was to become a geography teacher. Friends described him as the soul of their student life, a true star and an inspirational figure, as stated in the Telegram channel.

"I realized that a teacher is a friend and mentor, and becoming one is a true art. I am glad that I can move away from standard methods and experiment with new approaches to working with children," Alexey said about his mission and life choice, as reported by the Telegram channel "SVOI".

It is also known that the young man’s grandmother was a medical professional in the past, having worked at the Third City Hospital.
