On the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian infantry was defeated while attempting to storm positions. Details and footage from the front were shared on Facebook on October 15 by the press service of the 71st Separate Jaeger Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One of the units of the 71st Separate Brigade stopped and destroyed the Russian occupiers near Pokrovsk.

"The Russians are attacking here with suicidal determination, throwing in new soldiers constantly. Daily casualties do not matter to their command—the main goal is to breach our defenses in Donbas," the brigade emphasized.

It is noted that scouts, together with comrades from other units, are repelling "fierce enemy assaults." Russian forces are being eliminated even at the distant approaches to the positions through drops from UAVs and FPV drones.

"Those who get closer—are killed by the bullets of our defenders," the press service added.

Recall that the spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova, reported that the Russian Armed Forces are not preparing for winter. According to her, the Russian occupiers expect to achieve their objectives in the Donetsk region before the frost sets in.

Journalist Yuriy Butusov reported that the National Guard destroyed a column of the Russian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region. The battle took place near the village of Zhuravlevka across the border, indicating a "full-scale cross-border local operation invading enemy territory."
