"Shahed drone attack on Mykolaiv: critical infrastructure damaged, and a man injured (photos included)."

On the night of February 16, the enemy launched a mass attack using "Shahed" drones on Mykolaiv.

This information was reported in the summary from the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

As a result of the attack, there were damages to a critical infrastructure facility, and a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by firefighters. Five apartment buildings were damaged due to debris and the blast wave. Additionally, at least four shops, a catering establishment, and office spaces were also affected.

A 64-year-old man was injured in the attack and has been hospitalized. His condition is currently stable.

In total, 11 units of special equipment and 58 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire. A duty shift from the operational coordination center, chemists, pyrotechnicians, and law enforcement officers also worked at the scene.

On the night of February 16, air defense forces and assets in the Mykolaiv region destroyed nine UAVs of the "Shahed 131/136" type.
