Currently, Ukrainians have submitted over 6 million applications through "Diia" to receive 1000 UAH under the "Winter eSupport" program.
This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“And the number is constantly increasing,” he added.
The head of government reminded that the funds can be used until the end of 2025, specifically for medications, payment of utility bills, medical and educational services, or to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He also mentioned that since last week, clients of "Ukrposhta" have been receiving assistance, allowing them to spend the funds on goods and services provided by the national postal operator.
Shmyhal also announced that starting today, partner banks are joining the program.
“This option is aimed at older individuals who do not use "Diia," as well as guardians of minor children. It is enough to contact a bank, submit an application, and the financial institution will open a special account where the funds will be deposited,” stated the Prime Minister.
Background. Previously, Mind reported that Ukrainians sent 2.5 million applications for "winter eSupport" in just one day. A fifth of these applications were submitted for children, and the program was utilized mostly by women.
