Ukraine secured third place at the Invictus Games.

In 2025, the competition was held in a hybrid format.

The Invictus Games 2025 took place in the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Whistler, featuring sporting competitions for veterans and injured military personnel.

This marks Ukraine's participation in the fifth Invictus Games in its history.

This time, competitors competed in both summer sports (indoor rowing, swimming, sitting volleyball, basketball, and wheelchair rugby) and winter sports (alpine skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, cross-country skiing, skeleton, and curling).

Ukraine finished the Invictus Games in 3rd place in the overall medal standings, securing 12 gold medals (matching its best result), 11 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

The majority of Ukraine's medals were won in swimming (8 awards), while in cross-country skiing and biathlon, the team achieved 5 medals each.

For the first time in the history of the tournaments, Ukraine won a medal in a team sport – a bronze in sitting volleyball.

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Igor Oliynyk became the holder of six awards, winning three gold and three silver medals. Ruslan Serhiychuk also became a three-time champion.
