Ukraine's Security Service used drones and a Neptune missile to strike a warehouse of Russian reconnaissance drones, according to sources within the SBU.

Now, according to the SBU, there will be fewer of these drones used by the Russians to coordinate attacks on Ukrainian cities and the front lines.
Украина с использованием дронов СБУ и ракеты «Нептун» поразила склад российских разведывательных дронов, сообщают источники в СБУ.

On the night of January 10, drones from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and a "Neptune" missile struck a storage facility for Russian reconnaissance drones and ammunition near the village of Chaltir in the Rostov region.

According to a report by the Ukrainian BBC service, citing its own sources within the SBU.

As per the sources, the drones initially "overloaded" the Russian air defense, after which the "Neptune" missile was launched at the target.

Russian media reported on the activity of air defense systems and the sounds of flying drones during the night, as well as mentioning a powerful explosion near Chaltir and shared videos of the fire.

"The SBU, together with the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hit a critically important target – a storage facility with reconnaissance drones that coordinate enemy strikes on Ukrainian cities and the frontline. Now there will be fewer of these Russian 'birds' in the sky," an SBU source stated.

"Operations against military targets in enemy territory will continue," noted a representative of the security service.

The Russian authorities reported a massive drone attack in the Rostov region during the night, but their report did not mention the strike on the storage facility near Rostov. According to their information, 16 drones were shot down over the region.
